The American Institute of Architects Westchester + Hudson Valley Chapter confers upon Rolando Kraeher Architect a 2013 Citation Award in recognition of architectural excellence for the DCSPCA Adoption & Education Center in Hyde Park, New York. The jury found the project to be a particularly inventive plan and interpretation of program as well as a beautiful response to the site. They especially enjoyed the open quality of the spaces and the idea and formal strength of the covered animal walk areas.
